In a recent episode of Mohsin Abbas Haider’s Public Demand programme, the show’s great host Yasir Shami made an appearance. He discussed the realities of marriages between Pakistanis and foreigners during the broadcast. He claimed that his friends who work in immigration provide him with all of the information about these foreigners. He claims that because the channel pays the couples, such interviews are not free. Yasir Shami discussed the reality of these marriages and said, “I enjoy such interviews (says in jest), I have interviewed an 83-year-old woman who came to Hafizabad from Poland to marry a 25-year-old boy. At first, I believed they were lying, but when I looked at her passport, I discovered that she was 83 It is a business, and everything is done with both sides’ consent. “I also want to say to the authorities to keep a strict check and balance on this as it is very important,” Yasir Shami continued.
